Webinar: Using mass cytometry to identify clinically relevant biological signatures in human health and disease
→ABOUT THE WEBINAR: Mass cytometry has emerged in recent years as a powerful tool for single-cell analysis in both basic and clinical research studies. This virtual seminar features a discussion of mass cytometry technology and its application in human immunology and disease research.
Research in the Gaudilliere Lab combines high-parameter mass cytometry (suspension and Imaging Mass Cytometry™) with other proteomics approaches to study how the human immune system responds and adapts to physiological or pathological stressors. In this virtual seminar you will learn how the Gaudilliere group is applying mass cytometry and other proteomic technologies to obtain multi-omic views of several clinical scenarios, including:
• immune mechanisms of surgical recovery and complications;
• pregnancy and preterm birth;
• immune dysfunction and outcomes prediction in patients with COVID-19.
